Program Manager I, Project BEST 407-823-3277 jimmie.baker@ucf.edu Since 1999, Jimmie has worked within higher education and programs (CROP, FSU CARE, TRIO, etc.) that have focused on students who come from first generation, low-income backgrounds. With a passion for education, he even worked within the grade school system but realized higher ed is where he can be of better service. Jimmie has connected with students in and outside of the classroom in roles varying from adjunct professor, financial aid, student support services , program coordinator and even student conduct. An alumni of Florida State University and Full Sail University, Jimmie feels he has the well-rounded background, perfect for Project BEST scholars. Originally from Jacksonville Florida, Jimmie enjoys writing, trips to the mountains and photography. < Back
